I’m not to sure about you , but whenever I “ click for details” on outfit posts by international influencers/ bloggers I am always left disappointed, because either:
- The brand is selective in countries they ship to.
- I have to shop each item individually, from their respective stores – which is not only ridiculously time consuming but a tad pricy too ( if you get what I mean)
So instead, I’ve resorted to shopping on sites I like to call , “Online Department Stores.” and I’m going to share my favorite sites for online, international shopping.
If it wasn’t obvious enough , of course ASOS is going to top the list. This is probably the most user friendly , open ended site to date for High Street shopping, who also ship worldwide.
Covering a wide selection of High Street brands, alongside their own, ASOS brand and vintage collections there is honestly something for everyone.
So if you’re anything like me ( a.k.a someone who never sticks to one store) this site may just be the best thing since sliced bread.
This site is based around Instagram and allows you to shop your favorite instagrams from instagrammers.
It’s pretty simple, all you need to do is follows @liketoknowit on Instagram, sign up with your email and every time you like a post on their feed you’ll be emailed with ready shop product links.
I would say that this is more for those looking a spend a little more, as the looks they feature are slightly more high end.
This is perfect if you’re looking for something specific, or want your options narrowed down a little bit.
If you’re someone who doesn’t mind getting things second hand DEPOP might just be for you.
This is an online store, where regular people can sell clothes/ accessories etc.. that they don’t want. I think that this is great if you’re wanting to buy more luxury / higher end items but don’t want to splash out for the full price.
Many Social Media Influencers use this site to sell things they no longer use at a marked down price.
This one is for those interested in Designer labels/ higher end shopping. Net-a-Porter ( or Mr Porter) is one of the most renown Luxury shopping sites to date.
From Acne Studios , Balmain, Burberry you name it, they will probably have it. Alongside this many luxury brands also do exclusive collaborations with Net-a-Porter, and currently it is “ Gucci for Net-a-Porter” .
They stock all you need from luxury brands, from Beauty to clothes, shoes and accessories. So if luxe fashion is up your street, this one is a winner.
5. Vestiaire Collective
This site is where you can buy and sell luxury items. It is one of the most reliable and trustworthy second hand luxury shopping sites in the world. I came across this site from a recommendation by a luxury fashion blogger/ youtuber (Lydia Elise Millen) who has used this site countless times and hasn’t been disappointed.
If you are looking to buy any sort of luxury fashion items second hand, this is where you should be.
Vestiaire Collective, have their own independent authenticity process that also ensures that the products are certified “original” before being put up for sale.
It’s perfect for buying bags and accessories, and if you’re looking to make a little money from selling some old ( but good) luxury fashion items then this is pretty much your gold mine.
Last but not least, good ol’ Selfridges. This is probably no stranger to many, but Selfridges is one of the biggest department stores that ship Internationally. This is one for those looking for slightly higher end, but not “full on luxury”, and is usually really useful for beauty/ makeup purchases.
